Shanghai Emergency Command Centre is a functional institution for emergency response and disposal of public emergencies. It was officially established on September 30, 2004, and stationed at the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau. The center unifiedly receives reports of public emergencies  across the city via emergency hotlines such as "110", and organizes and coordinates 27 cooperating units to conduct emergency disposal.
